Memory Lane: Sabaton – Skogsröjet 2008

Yes, i love pyros and thinks it adds an important ingredient to any metal show worth mentioning, if used correctly.

For this show i remember that me & Pär got access to the stage just 40 minutes before the show setting the pyros up, and i think that he had like 5 minutes or less to change into his stage clothes and grab the bass before the show started!

Frank Kooistra was in charge of pressing the magic button on this show and since it was his first time doing pyros for Sabaton, he missed one of the first blasts and i remember that i went up on stage asking what happened and then encourage him to give it a new try later on in the show when he was sure what, and when to do it 😉 And he did..

I managed to get this image of that blast and it went out pretty nice i think 🙂
