Amahiru takes Hours to deliver traditional metal with melodic and oriental elements
Combining traditional metal with melodic and oriental elements, Amahiru is a collaboration between Frédéric Leclercq (Kreator, Sinsaenum, ex-Dragonforce) and Saki of all-female Japanese metal bands Mary’s Blood and Nemophila.
The duo met in 2015 when Mary’s Blood opened for Dragonforce in Hongkong and a first taste of this newly formed metal powerhouse comes in the form of “Hours”, a single accompanied the official music video below.
The self-titled debut album “Amahiru” is going to be released on November 27th, 2020 through earMUSIC on CD and digital. The album features 12 brand new tracks where hard guitar riffs and punchy drums are combined with rough but melodic vocals, all heavily influenced by musical elements from Japan.
Frédéric Leclercq – Rhythm and Lead Guitar + Bass Guitar
SAKI – Lead Guitar
Archie Wilson – Vocals
Coen Janssen – Keys
Mike Heller – Drums
